This Privacy Policy describes how Arvis Digital ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the UnboxMovie mobile application and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1 Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account details — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo.
- Profile information — any details you add, such as a display name or city.
- Shipping details — your address and phone number, collected only when you win a physical prize.
- Communications — messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — contests joined, points earned, spins, quiz answers, and in-app activity.
- Device data — device model, operating system version, app version, and a unique device identifier.
- Approximate & precise location — used only for the Treasure Zones feature, with your permission (see Section 5).
2 How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and points balance.
- To run contests, lucky spins, quizzes, and mystery boxes fairly.
- To deliver prizes to verified winners.
- To display leaderboards (we only show your display name and city — never your email).
- To improve the app, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- To send you important notices about contests, winnings, or policy updates.
- To prevent fraud, cheating, and abuse of the Service.
3 Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:
- Service providers — trusted partners who help us run the app (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics, and courier services for prize delivery), bound by confidentiality.
- Legal reasons — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or UnboxMovie.
- Public leaderboard — your display name and city may be visible to other users on leaderboards.
4 Prizes & Shipping
If you win a physical prize, we collect your shipping address and phone number solely to deliver it. This information is shared with the courier only for delivery and is retained as needed for records and tax compliance.
5 Location Data
Location is optional. We only request location access for the Treasure Zones feature, so you can find and claim chests near you. You can deny or revoke this permission anytime in your device settings — the rest of the app keeps working.
6 Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure — to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
7 Children's Privacy
UnboxMovie is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8 Your Rights & Choices
- Access & update your profile information in the app at any time.
- Delete your account — email us and we will remove your account and associated personal data.
- Manage permissions — control location and notification access in your device settings.
- Opt out of non-essential notifications in the app settings.
9 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be notified within the app.
